“I came across Butter-Cup Bakery a couple of months ago, when Lisa (the co-owner) kept sending me invitations via facebook to join the group, to be honest I joined in the end to stop her from sending another invitation ....Boy am I glad I did!!
The first cake that I ordered was a lemon drizzle for my Mother in laws visit, one word for it delicious!!!
The next cake was a carrot (now a firm family favourite).
Since then I have lost count of the number of Carrot, lemon & fruit cakes that I have ordered, in fact I find myself inviting family & friends around just to have an excuse to order another cake :-)
The service is brilliant, both Lisa & Clair can't do enough for you, when I found myself away for Mothers Day, they hand delivered an iced fruit cake to my Mum, it was beautifully presented, with "Happy Mother’s Day" ribbon around it, they have also helped me out at the last minute when I forgot a birthday, I phoned at 5pm one evening & had the cake delivered to me at 8am the next morning.
I have recommended them to friends and family who have also ordered from them & have been equally delighted.
I guarantee you won't find a better cake anywhere.”

“Just to say thank you for our delicious cakes each week (& more)! I think by now we must have tried every cake you sell, and haven’t had a bad word to say yet! The Carrot Cake is to die for, but I think my personal favourite is Clair’s very own cherry and fruit sponge. OUTSTANDING! Good wholesome traditional cakes. You both do yourselves proud. Would also recommend your novelty cakes to anyone and everyone. All three of my children loved theirs. The Princess Castle was amazing! My twin girls were over the moon. It truly made their day. I have also used Butter-Cup Bakery for entertaining and corporate events. The prompt service and excellent quality is simply second to none. I have dealt with most of the large catering companies within South Wales, and not one has provided me with such a high standard of service and food that you do.
The little personal touches that you don’t get from other suppliers are lovely as well. The personalized ribbon for example, and your ability to go the extra mile even when you’re busy, it all makes a difference. In this day and age when customer service seems to be a thing of the past, you girls are a breath of fresh air! Nothing is too much trouble.
